In this Animatic we have changed the colouring of the pictures to give them more of a thriller look. As thriller films are mostly aimed at a male audience, we choose the pictures to have a blue tint to link to male and also it is quite a serious colour and cold. Lighting is low key to make the scenes more tense, so we put the darks down and the lights up.











Here is the original picture (right) and the finished one (left) to show how much we have changed the the colours, lighting etc. to give it that thriller feel.

Casting

To get a suitable male character for our thriller film we have been on a number of websites and drama groups to post what we are looking for.

the first website we used to look for a ideal character was www.tobeseen.co.uk. This allows you to post jobs for free and choose exactly what you are looking for, because they are not a agency you will not be charged any commission and will receive e-mails from anyone interested in the part.    

From this we found 1 suitable actor for a film. 

We also used Casting Call Pro( http://www.castingcallpro.com/uk/search.php) to find actors within our distance. We used dropped down menu options to decrease the search amount, we specified for an actress within the age of 20-30 to make our film more accurate and realistic.
